TORBA, Pentecost and Port Vila Municipality by-elections soon

Dates have been set for the people of TORBA, Pentecost, and Port Vila to exercise their democratic rights through the holding of by-elections. TORBA will go to polls to elect new councillors in December while Pentecost will elect a new member of Parliament on October 8. The Port Vila municipality will also elect two new councillors.

New Ballot Boxes Boosts Vanuatu’s Electoral Office

Port Vila, Vanuatu — The Vanuatu Electoral office received a boost in operations with the hand-over of 100 international standard ballot boxes which will be used in the scheduled March 2018 Port Vila municipal elections.
